As a result, we are committed to placing employees in situations that utilize their strengths, to creating whatever support structures might be necessary, and to treating people fairly along the way.

For administrative purposes, our support staff and our teaching staff are guided by a Personnel Handbook. This handbook provides detailed information regarding performance expectations and remediation processes; employment standards; maternity leave procedures; collective agreements; job descriptions; as well as other topics. Each school has a Personnel Handbook in hard copy.

Employee Assistance Program: Homewood Health

Homewood Health's counselling, coach and support programs and proactive employee assistance services help people to regain their health and to enjoy an improved outlook. Homewood Health personalizes a continuum of care, for the employee or family member, to deal with issues of addictions, conflict, depression, stress, or major life events.

Absence Management

Wolf Creek Public Schools utilizes the Atrieve absence mangement system for all tasks related to absence management and substitute teacher bookings across the division.  The Teacher FAQ's document is a resource for teachers who have questions related to using Atrieve.
