Please Note: No busing applications will be processed during spring break from March 14th through March 24th. All 2018-2019 school year applications and inquiries will be reviewed and processed after March 24th.
AT THIS TIME ALL TOWN USER-PAY APPLICATIONS WILL BE PUT ON WAITING LISTS TO DETERMINE IF THERE IS SPACE AVAILABLE.
Applications for the 2019-2020 school year will be accepted beginning on April 1st 2019 with a deadline of June 15th 2019.
Applications for September will be processed during the summer months. During the school year please allow 5-6 business days for processing.

All busing registrations must be completed online. The online registration is located further down this page – failure to provide complete and accurate information may result in a delayed approval or the denial of an application.
Fall 2019 Busing Information - As our buses fill up quickly, please be sure that the online registration form is completed by June 15, 2019. User pay busing seats are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis - there is a transportation fee for students who currently live less than 2.4 kilometers from their school. Late user pay registrations will be put on a waiting list if a bus is determined to be full.
Applicants require a parent or family email address to apply online. Applicants without access to a computer are encouraged to use technology resources at their local school or public library to apply online. Please contact the Transportation Services Department if you are experiencing issues with the registration form.
Rural (country) students should only register if they are new to or have moved within WCPS or the school divisions that WCPS has busing arrangements with (i.e. Star Catholic Schools etc.). There is no charge for rural students living 2.4 kilometers (or greater) from their designated school. Rural parents must provide us with their legal land description and blue sign (911) address. Failure to provide complete information will result in a delay of processing registrations.
Urban (town) students who live in the towns of Lacombe, Blackfalds or Ponoka MUST re-register each year - students will not be permitted to ride until the application has been approved and busing is paid for or payment arrangements have been made if it is determined your home is in a user pay area. All addresses are checked and verified. There is a transportation fee for town students who live less than 2.4 kilometers from their school.
User Pay Fees - Approved urban students living in user pay areas will be e-mailed instructions to make payments online using the Rycor School Fee System – payments will be accepted by way of the following credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Visa Debit can be used and is treated as a credit card through CIBC, RBC, TD or ScotiaBank. MasterCard Debit can be used at the same banks as Visa Debit as well as BMO, ATB, Mountain View and Service Credit Unions. Interac Online payments can be made through the following Canadian banks - ScotiaBank, RBC or TD Banks. E-cheques and e-transfers are not accepted.
You have a choice of paying for transportation fees in full or by setting up to 2 or 3 monthly installments. Full payment or monthly installments arrangements are expected prior to any student being able to ride any bus. Failure to make payments or keep payments current may result in your child/children being removed from the bus. Delaying fee payment or the setting up of a payment plan may result in your child's seat being forfeited to another student.
The payment plan option is only available at the beginning of the school year and is not available for new payment plans after September 30th. Online payments are to be made once the bus registration is approved by the Transportation Services Department and you have received an email link from with instruction for making payment. Payments cannot be accepted until the registration is approved!
Students may not ride until they have been approved and the driver has the rider’s information.
Please contact Wolf Creek Transportation Services if you have registered and are no longer interested in having your child/children bused.
