Board of Trustees Hosts Public Engagement Session Sixty-four participants responded to personal invitations from the Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) Board of Trustees to participate in a Public Engagement Session at École Secondaire Lacombe Composite High School on Thursday, January 21, 2010.
The evening was hosted to accomplish two purposes: 1.) to assist participants in becoming better informed about the budgetary issues the WCPS Board currently faces and 2.) to provide participants the opportunity for input in order to assist the WCPS Board in both its continued advocacy efforts with the Provincial government and to help guide the Board in its budget deliberation for the next school year and beyond.
The survey information from the session indicated that the evening was very successful. The highlights of the evaluation from the participants are as follows: -- 94% of the participants were satisfied with the session’s format, -- 95% of participants were satisfied with the information presented, and -- 100% of participants were satisfied with their opportunity to provide input.
