About the Office of the Superintendent

Each year we publish documents that outline how we have reached the decisions that impact all learners, the new initiatives that we are pursuing, and the results of our collective efforts. This is in accord with our motto of "Creating Success For All Learners" and highlights the commitment we make to everyone impacted by the educational efforts of Wolf Creek Public Schools.

A Message from the Superintendent of Schools

It is with great pleasure and excitement that we welcome students back to school for the start of the 2025/2026 school year! We look forward to seeing students return to school and continue their education journeys.

2025/2026 is the first year of our renewed 4-year Education Plan. Our plan guides our work and is informed by all stakeholders, including school staff and administration.

There will be several areas of focus in 2025/2026, including revisiting best practices in assessment, strengthening numeracy achievement, launching a CASA classroom as part of meeting the needs of every student, continues growth with our career development initiatives, broadening our Indigenous Education and Reconciliation programming, and promoting the health and wellness of all staff and students.  Our division office staff look forward to supporting all schools as this work continues to develop.

We are a public education organization, and as such, all students must have an equitable opportunity to succeed and grow.  We know that to achieve true equity, we must serve the individual needs of students, some of whom need more support than others. Our effort to remove barriers is a core component of our Education Plan, aligning closely with our ultimate goal of seeing every student succeed.

I invite everyone to review our Education Plan in further detail.  I wish everyone a positive and productive start-up as we get ready to welcome back our students!

Thank you
