Introduction
Ponoka Elementary School is the second largest school in Wolf Creek with over 600 students from PreKindergarten to Grade 6. The school was recently modernized and boasts a unique design that encourages collaborative teaching and learning. Our staff promote purposeful technology integration and active, healthy lifestyles for all our students while we strive to reach our personal goals through a supportive network and personal dedication.
Our Location
The town of Ponoka is located 35 minutes northeast of Red Deer and 50 minutes southeast of Edmonton. Ponoka is located near the Highway 2 corridor in Central Alberta. Ponoka Elementary School is part of Wolf Creek Public Schools #72 which consists of 7200 students in 30 school locations throughout the division.
