Alix Mac Scholarships
Students are responsible for verifying scholarship deadline dates.
ALIX AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY SCHOLARSHIP
- For students from the Alix/Mirror area.
- Students must be planning to attend a post secondary program (trade school, college or university).
- Up to $1,200 is available, dependent on the number of suitable applications.
- To apply, submit a short, introductory letter about yourself and the post-secondary program you have been accepted to (conditional acceptance will qualify). Include information about what you plan to do with your education. Maximum length: 500 words
- Submit by mail to Alix Agricultural Society – Scholarship Committee; Box 746 Alix, AB T0C 0B0 or by email to alixagsociety@outlook.com. Deadline to Submit: May 15, 2022.
ALIX LEGION SCHOLARSHIP
- For students who have excelled in their academic studies.
- Graduating grade 12 and attending a Post Secondary Institution
- Highest mark in Social Studies 30 or equivalent

- For children of Canadian Armed Forces members or grandchildren of veterans.
- Graduating grade 12 and attending a Post Secondary Institution

ALIX LIONS CLUB SCHOLARSHIP - 2 of $1,000
- Must be a graduate of Alix-MAC Scool
- Attending a Post Secondary Institution with proof of registration within a year of graduation
- course duration should be a minimum of 6 months
- Demonstrate honesty and integrity as well as leadership qualities
- Must provide:
- Transcript of grade 12 marks
- Letter of reference
- Self-written letter highlighting community involvement and/or volunteerism
