Ohpikowin Group Celebrates a Year of Cultural Learning

The Ohpikowin (growth in Cree) group celebrated a year of cultural learning by hosting a tea and bannock for family and friends. The Ohpikowin group consists of girls in grades 4-6 who are First Nations, Métis, and Inuit and have a keen interest in learning more about their culture. We have been honoured to have Elder Effie Janvier supporting the girls this year at the Ponoka Elementary School.
