Stacy Sargeant appointed Rimbey Elementary School Assistant Principal

Rimbey — Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Stacy Sargeant to the position of Assistant Principal of Rimbey Elementary School.

Sargeant has served in WCPS for her entire career, beginning in 1999. She has taught many of the Division 1 grades, has experience teaching junior high  students, and was a WCPS Inclusion Coach at Bluffton and Rimbey Elementary School. Sargeant’s passion is working with students with diverse needs, as she is well trained including in Level B assessments and testing, Cognitive Coaching, and Star Autism.

“Stacy is a long serving, loyal and dedicated educator that has much to bring to her new leadership role at Rimbey Elementary School. We are very excited to have her in this role and feel both the school and community will benefit,” said Sonja Dykslag, WCPS assistant superintendent - People Services. 

Sargeant has also served as acting assistant principal at Rimbey Elementary School in the Spring of 2021. She has her bachelor of education degree from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska and plans to start her master’s degree in education.  

“I am excited for this new opportunity. I am looking forward to serving my school community and the community of Rimbey in this new role,” said Sargeant.

Sargeant takes the role of Assistant Principal of Rimbey Elementary School, as Kathleen Terry joins Wolf Creek Public Schools’ Division Office team as a Coordinator of Education Services.
