Mr. Jay Adamson

Jay Adamson serves as the Director of People Services for Wolf Creek Public Schools, bringing a deep commitment to student success, staff development, and system-wide excellence. With a strong background in educational leadership, Jay has previously served as a principal and has a wealth of experience in fostering collaborative school cultures, supporting teacher growth, and championing inclusive practices.

In his current role, Jay is responsible for supporting the recruitment, retention, and professional development of staff across the division. He is passionate about building leadership capacity, enhancing mentorship programs for new teachers and administrators, and promoting a positive and healthy workplace culture. Jay's leadership is grounded in care, integrity, and a belief in the potential of every learner and educator.

Jay holds a Master of Education degree from the Wilkes University and a B.Ed and B.PE from the University of Alberta.  Through Jay's education career he has been a teacher, athletic director, department head, assistant principal and principal within Wild Rose School Division and Wolf Creek Public Schools. 

Outside of his professional role, he is a devoted husband and father of two who values family, community, and wellness.
