Darryl Stendie

Darryl Stendie is serving his first term as a Trustee, and serves a newly created ward for Blackfalds. He is a proud husband and father of four children, having moved to Blackfalds more than 12 years ago. As of this fall, Stendie has children attending every WCPS school within Blackfalds. This will be the case for the entirety of his term as his youngest will begin attending Iron Ridge Elementary in 2022 and his eldest will be amongst the first groups to benefit from our upcoming high school, planned for Blackfalds.

The last seven years of Stendie’s professional life has been dedicated to I.T. in local government, and previously was a rehabilitation aide, reinforcing the values of empathy and advocacy. He values listening to others and collaboration to best represent the ward and the Division.
