Brent Buchanan

With a Masters in Education, Buchanan pursued his love of teaching for 26 years as an educator and administrator. Buchanan is serving his second term as Trustee, being first elected after retiring as an administrator at Wolf Creek Public Schools. He has been married for 40 years, has six children as well as 11 grandchildren. In his experience, there has been a vast amount of change in education and Buchanan is seeking more change to ensure our children and grandchildren have the opportunity to partake of the best education possible.

As a trustee, Buchanan looks to embrace an inclusive environment that supports collaboration among all stakeholders to best serve students, develop good citizens, safeguard a world class education system that teaches critical thinking, and continue to serve Wolf Creek as a champion for public education.
